Cross country could be a reason. It's very time consuming but it's something that i love to do. This weekend the team went to Pensacola, Florida to compete, and both the girls and guys teams scored for second place. The day before we raced, we had some free time to go to the beach and eat dinner. I absolutely love college running..much more than highschool. In my hometown, cross country wasn't taken seriously as a sport. Here, it's just the opposite. The workouts are definitely getting me into shape. Every morning we start our workout at 6:00am and run for no less than an hour..monday through saturday. When i first heard about this before the season started, i almost flipped...i don't do mornings. I might physically wake up at 6:00am, but mentally i'm asleep until about 10:30am. Somehow, i've managed to stay with it, even through the cold, dark and wet mornings that have already been in effect since the weather has been bipolar to the max.
I ended up going to the game on saturday night but only stayed for the first quarter. I heard that we had won but not sure by how much. This coming weekend is the LSU vs Miss State game and I'm so pumped! Go Tigers!! Hopefully i'll be able to make it to a game this year but not sure how it's going to work with my schedule.
