This is actually the first time that i'm not rushing to finish my blog..i should do this more often.  So tomorrow starts the big day of my cross country season.  The team is leaving at noon tomorrow to drive to Texas for the most important meet of the year..Conference.  And the best part is the actual drive which is going to take ten hours..hmm can't wait.  We run on Saturday morning so we'll actually have time to chill for a day once we get up there.  I think our coach is taking us to the Alamo..not sure what to expect, but i'm pumped.
Tonight was INSANE...we had our KT pledge test that turned out to be a pop exam considering they told us the test was going to be tomorrow.  I feel like i failed, but there were more questions than i thought i knew.  There was so much information to know in the first place..but i don't think i was the  only one who looked confused.
So my suite mate Anna Boyd just came in from her LT senior night covered in ketchup, mayo and mustard. She looks beautiful!  oh man i wish i had more to talk about but i don't.  As hectic as everything feels right now you'd think i could easily write a four page essay of my life story..

I've never realized how disgusting a bathroom being shared by four girls can get when you haven't cleaned it in a couple weeks.  We actually had to schedule a clean up session so that everyone would be able to help out.  I've really tried to keep my room clean..the worst part is keeping up with laundry.  I managed to make two huge piles of dirty clothes that had been building up for the last two weeks.  One was overflowing out of the laundry basket which you couldn't even see, and the second pile was in a random corner of the room...Now that i have spent basically my entire weekend washing clothes, i feel like i can breath.
Homecoming was pretty exciting..The game was good, however we started loosing right before i left so i didn't hear how it ended.  I am SOOO glad that follies are over.  It was fun, and i just want to say that Karrie Kirk is hilarious. I almost died laughing when she sang "My heart will go on."  Civitan was AMAZING.  The deserved to win for sure.
This week is going to be the busiest week of my life..I have a combination of three big exams, then i have to study for KT elephant court, and on thursday the cross country team leaves for conference which is pretty much the most important race of the season.  I noticed here at MC that professors love to schedule all of their tests in the same week.  I wonder if they plan that..

Fall Break was great! I loved going back home and seeing all of my old friends again since the summer.  No one had really changed and it felt like i saw them the day before.  It was weird because i actually anticipated coming back as soon as i had left.  My mom decided that since i had gone off to college, she was going to redecorate EVERYTHING.  When i came back on tuesday night, all of my friends acted like they hadn't seen each other in about a year...i can't even imagine what's going to happen during Christmas break.  School has actually settled down for me lately.  I've basically been putting everything into cross-country and tribes..and tribes..and more tribe stuff.  I love it though..people are already talking about informal.  So many of my friends have already gotten dates..i just want to make sure i live through follies and survive my final pledge exam..
I think my body is just starting to physically get used to the stressful, overbearing and hectic schedule that i've been working through everyday.  I had a cross country meet this morning, then right as i got back to school i had follies practice until 5.  It's a saturday night and all i feel like doing is going to bed at 7:00pm..that's how cool i am.

Here i am, turning in a late blog..I absolutely, completely forgot.  At least i have much to talk about.  This week was a good week for me. Busy, but good.  I love how all of my assignments are usually due no later than a thursday so i have friday and the weekend to chill out a little.  So i have a story that has been stuck in my mind for the past few days.  The other day when i was walking to class i noticed a couple getting into the car.  The guy walked to the passenger side and opened the door for the girl.  (This never happens back at home)  He then took her bag off of her shoulders and placed on the back seat. (This is what got my attention)  He then noticed that her dress had fallen a little out the car so he neatly tucked it inside.  Right before he shut the door he pulled the seat belt out from behind her so she wouldn't have to reach around her head to grab it...(at this point i am fully enthralled with what i'm seeing) He finally shut the door, got in, and drove off.  If anyone says that MC boys are wimps then they are 100% wrong.  I can guarantee that you won't see anything like that anywhere else besides in clinton.  At least i haven't.  I'm just getting used to people opening the car door for me which is a very strange at first.  Especially when you're not even expecting it.
So this weekend we had a cross country meet at the trails.  I love cross country.  But i absolutely loath waking up at 5:30 every morning to go run.  It has been getting harder and harder trying to convince myself to sit up and start moving out of bed.  I can actually tell that i'm not getting enough sleep because i'll constantly catch myself staring out into space during class and i'll end up missing a big important part of a lecture.
